Fernando Torres- tweets his joy and sorrow on twitter
The Atletico Madrid star Fernando Torres tweeted about good news and bad news of his career.
It was a day of mixed emotions for Fernando Torres, as the former Liverpool and Chelsea star shared his thoughts on Tuesday, via his official Twitter account.
The 31-year-old striker took to Twitter with great pleasure, the first Atletico Madrid player to congratulate the club and manager Diego Simeone, following the announcement the Argentine coach has signed a new deal until June 2020.
Understandably, Fernando Torres is a huge admirer of Simeone, who afforded him the opportunity of returning to Atletico Madrid this season, with his tweet translating: "Atléti take another solid step in their future. Simeone stays until 2020."
Torres of course, will be hoping to be a firm part of that future himself, alongside Simeone, with the club hoping to build on the success the 44-year-old coach has already brought to the Vicente Calderón over the last four years.
Meanwhile and as the awful news filtered through about the crash of a flight from Barcelona to Dusseldorf earlier today, in the French Alps and with no expected survivors, Torres was clearly affected by the tragic accident.
